11:23p	Celebrity Centre Gala This weekend was the 37th anniversary of Celebrity Centre I can remember when I first moved to LA (a l-o-n-g time ago) and I used to hang out at Celebrity Centre when it was down on 7th street. It as such an interesting place. sort of like a loft. I loved going to Poetry by Candlelight. Two years ago I got to attend the CC gala -- the night David Miscavige gave his famous This is Scientology speech. What a difference from what it was like over 30 years ago. Both great in their own right but the new Celebrity Centre is a real example of the incredible expansion of the Scientology religion. (Comment on this)
11:34p	A friend of mine was having trouble with her boss.  I pulled out the Problems of Work - a book by L. Ron Hubbard.  We found exactly what she needed to fix things up, and it worked.  She was going to quit her job if she couldn't get this sorted out.   There is so much great information in that book.  It's also a great way to find out about Scientology for anyone who wants to see how they can use it themselves, because it is so practical. 11:40p	Friends I have some good friends in New York.  They invited me to visit them there last summer.  They work at the Church of Scientology of New York.  What a gorgeous building!  I was impressed.  I'd seen it before the renovations and it was amazing, what they did for that place!
