    Time Event
    11:13p
I see that there are a lot of Scientologists blogging about the Volunteer Ministers in Louisiana and Missippi. These guys are doing such a great job. I have several friends who are there and have been there and returned. I'm very proud of what they have done. It takes a special kind of person to go out and help in a disaster. One thing about being a Scientology Volunteer Minister -- you know that the skills you have, from having studied L. Ron Hubbard's technology, will really help people, calm down the environment, extroverty people and get them looking toward the future again.

So many of the people who were in the shelters where my friends volunteered have lost everything.

When people lose things that are important to them they get stuck in the loss and with all their attention on that they can't really make plans or start to create their lives again. And that's deadly.

That's what's so magical about Scientology assists and Dianetics auditing. Because of the use of this technology people leave the shelters optimistic and eager to rebuild.

One thing Mr. David Miscavige said this summer at an event aboard the Freewinds -- the ship that serves as a Scientology religious retreat -- really struck a chord with me. By the work the Scientology Volunteer Ministers did with the tsunami victims, hundreds of thousands of people were helped.
